Welcome to Riverview High School’s Performing Arts.

Exterior RPACWelcome to the home of Riverview High School’s Performing Arts in Sarasota Florida!  Riverview High School is proud and fortunate to have one of the best performing arts departments in the state.  With a student population well over 2500 students, the performing arts programs educate and inspire over 500 students every year within multiple courses.  Students at Riverview have the opportunity to participate in Choir, the Kiltie Marching Band, Orchestra, Jazz Ensemble, Percussion, Highland Dance, Drama, Bagpipes, Guitar Class and Ensemble.  Non-performance classes also available at Riverview include Music Theory, AP Music Theory and Keyboard.  Please click above to learn more about one of our many amazing performing arts programs.

Auditions for Incomming Freshman

If you are an incomming freshman for the 2018-2019 school year and have signed up for Choir, Orchestra or Guitar, placement auditions are Saturday, May 5 between 9a.m. and 12 p.m. in the Music Building  Auditions are for studnets that think they may qualify to be placed in an ensemble other than the entry-level group.  Please contact the teacher of each ensmble for more information:

Riverivew Performing Arts Welcomes new Band Director

We are thrilled to welcome Mr. Andrew Dubbert to the Perfroming Arts Department at Riveriview.  He is an FSU graduate and experienced teacher.  Mr. Dubbert is taking over the Kilie Band program after Mark Spreen retired at the end of the 2016-2017 school year.  We wish Mr. Spreen a happy retirement and good luck to Mr. Dubbert as he contiunes our band's tradition in excellence.
